Author Bio: Aric Sundquist is an author and editor of speculative fiction. Born and raised in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, he graduated from Northern Michigan University with a Master's Degree in Creative Writing. His stories have appeared in numerous publications, including Fearful Fathoms Vol. 1, The Best of Dark Moon Digest, Night Terrors III, Evil Jester Digest Vol. 1, and Attic Toys. Being a writer and a musician at heart, he also enjoys board games, guitar, and traveling. Currently he lives in Marquette, MI, with his girlfriend, Elsa, and a ferocious beagle named Bruce.
In early 2013, he began working with Taylor Grant as an acquisitions editor and scriptwriter for Evil Jester Press/Comics, adapting stories by bestselling authors Joe McKinney and Jonathan Maberry for the inaugural issue of Evil Jester Presents. In 2014, he edited EJC's first graphic novel, Made Flesh, written by Lars Kramhøft and illustrated by Tom Kristensen.
In 2019, he opened Dark Peninsula Press, an independent publishing company specializing in dark fiction anthologies. He also began working with the South Korean company Line Webtoon — the world's largest digital comic company — to help springboard their new line of in-house thriller adaptions. Currently he is working on a number of short stories, a dark fantasy novella series, numerous anthologies, and a horror-themed board game.
